Who I am & What I do
I am a former superintendent of K-12 school district operations involving planning, applied research, communications, staffing, pupil accommodation reviews, program reviews, student transportation, and district strategic plans.
Like many people, I am concerned about the climate crisis and the pressures it is placing on communities. Climate adaptation planning is becoming an essential part of local and regional decision‑making.
Community schools have a special role to play
My recent work examines how Ontario’s education funding model limits system capacity in the climate era.
I write and think about this a lot.
I am a data focused optimist.
I like collaborating with people.
I advocate for The Adaptation Bridge across multiple contexts, including the purpose economy.
