Who I am & What I do

I am a former superintendent of K-12 school district operations involving planning, applied research, communications, staffing, pupil accommodation reviews, program reviews, student transportation, and district strategic plans.

Like many people, I am concerned about the climate crisis and the pressures it is placing on communities. Climate adaptation planning is becoming an essential part of local and regional decision‑making.

Community schools have a special role to play

My recent work includes examining how Ontario’s education funding model shapes system capacity in the climate era.

I spend a lot of time thinking and writing about this.

I am data oriented.

I like collaborating with people.

You know your organization and your community.

I work with people and organizations to support climate‑era planning in ways that fit their context.
